Google Stars - Bookmarking made easy

Notice a little star next to your search results this morning? Google announced yesterday that this new bookmarking feature will be available for all globablly signed in users.

Replacing Search Wiki, Stars make it easy to see within your search results what you have bookmarked. It also syncs with your Google Toolbar and Google Bookmarks so you have everything in one place. If you want to remove a star, just click it again and it will dissappear from your search and bookmarks.

I like this feature, I’ve been using stars in Google Mail, Reader and News for a while now, so it will come naturally to use stars in searches to pin sites if I want to go back to them later on.

Stars are less intrusive than Personalised Search and crucially, it does not mess up your SERP the way Personalised Search does when it pushes websites you have visited before near the top of the page.

What do you think of Stars? Will you be using it when searching?
