SEO Manager
The purpose of this role is to drive SEO activity across the Blueclaw client portfolio. The SEO manager will ensure that the latest SEO techniques and technologies are being applied to all campaigns to ensure Blueclaw exceeds client expectations.
Main Tasks:
• Co-ordinate and lead a clearly defined link building strategy across all of the key accounts
• Devise and manage a program of ethical search engine optimisation activity for Blueclaw clients (and the Blueclaw site) aligning with Blueclaw’s strategic objectives, using commercial awareness as a guide in decision making
• Manage Blueclaw’s SEO team, ensure the team has support, guidance and appropriate training/skills & motivation
• Provide insight on integrated digital marketing practices between SEO, Social Media and Content promotion
• Communicate SEO team activity on a weekly basis to the MD, and co-ordinating activity with all SEO staff (conduct weekly team meetings) and any external agencies/suppliers
• To continually look for and implement the latest strategies and technologies to ensure Blueclaw Media is at the forefront of SEO
• To manage and optimise SEO campaigns so that they achieve and, where possible, exceed the targets agreed with the Client
• To ensure reporting is conducted in an accurate and timely manner
• To contribute to and promote the Blueclaw blog
• Pitch new ideas/opportunities to existing clients and help pitch for new work
• Develop competitor reports, by analysing competitor information, identifying trends and recommending changes
• Perform SEO Site Audits, analysis and provide recommendations
• Verify web analytics and keyword data for SEO. Analyse SEO keyword targeting ensuring Blueclaw client sites are optimised for the highest converting/revenue keyword phrases. Continually develop and refine keyword research activities
The role will also require a hands-on approach, in terms of On-Site SEO, link building, social media work and content creation.

- Client facing skills
- Extremely strong SEO knowledge (on-site and off-site)
- Up to date knowledge of latest SEO Tools and trends
- Full understanding of web analytics
- Competent Excel skills
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript (PHP desirable)
- Educated to degree level or above
