SEO Anchor Text Links for 2011
Here at Blueclaw we’ve been discussing what are likely to be the key SEO factors for 2011. Various topics have passed our lips such as Google Places, review content, faceted search/navigation, brand reputation monitoring, Tweet mentions, quality content etc. However there is one area that has dominated our thoughts more than any other; and that is Google’s current interpretation of anchor text within back-links.

Apple Announce New iAd Producer Tools
As the mighty ‘Claw’s resident Apple zealot, imagine my joy upon checking macrumors.com last night and discovering that Apple had announced the release of a new set of tools for the creation of iAds on the Apple Developer site. You could say Christmas came early for me and my pants.
Youtique - Clever Video-Commerce
I stumbled across French Connection’s Youtique YouTube channel today - we are all very impressed here at Blueclaw (especially the female staff), you can watch a vid and then buy ‘the look’ via embedded tags within the video (links to products on the French Connection website) - this pushes boundaries of social-commerce further still, the power to refer products via YouTube and tag each to Facebook and Twitter - see for yourself (by the way we don’t work for French Connection!):
