SkyBet’s Sporting Life site is one of the top sporting news sites in the UK, with a heritage that goes all the way back to the Victorian era.

To maintain and increase its reputation and reach, Sporting Life must continually reach new audiences – the first major site migration in 12 years was therefore a major project that had to maintain search engine visibility and future-proof the site.

Blueclaw on-site technical SEO team was tasked with working with Sporting Life’s development partners to protect and perfect the brand’s search engine performance – with fantastic results.

The Objective

As a 12 year old site with huge visibility, Sporting Life tasked Blueclaw with completing a full site migration without seeing a drop in key rankings that assisted in maintaining Sporting Life’s position at the forefront of UK sport news.
